It is super amazing to eat spicy tangy chaat during winters be it prepared with potatoes or any other ingredients. Today we are making shakarkandi chaat which will be liked by everyone.

Ingredients for Sweet Potato Chaat Recipe
- Sweet potatoes - 2
- Sweet chutney
- Green chilly sauce
- Green coriander (finely chopped)
- Roasted cumin powder
- Black salt
- Lemon - 1
How to make Shakarkandi ki Chaat
Take sweet potato in a polythene bag and add 1 to 2 tbsp water to it so that it gets tender. Close the polythene and microwave for 7 minutes. After this check the sweet potatoes.
To check the sweet potatoes, press it with your hands a little but be careful about the steam. Sweet potato is now roasted well. Take it out from the polythene bag and let it cool down. Now peel the sweet potatoes using a knife and then chop down into 1/2 - 1/2 inch chunks.
Take the chunks in a bowl and to it add salt, roasted cumin powder, 1/2 tsp green chilly sauce, 2 tsp sweet chutney, 1/2 or 1 tsp lemon juice and some green coriander. Mix everything really well.
Sweet potato chaat is ready, transfer it to a plate and sprinkle some more spices to it. Also add 1/2 tsp sweet chutney and garnish with green coriander. Super spicy and tangy sweet potato chaat is ready. Serve and relish eating.
- Thick sweet potato is better in taste, so use these ones only.
- You can also pressure cook the sweet potatoes.
