Masala Peanuts Recipe in Microwave
We all relish eating masala peanuts. We have already prepared fried peanut masala, today we'll make masala peanut in microwave. Masala peanut in microwave is as tasty and crispy as fried masala peanuts.

Ingrediets for Masala Peanuts recipe in Microwave
- Peanuts - 1 cup
- Gram flour - 1/3 cup
- Salt - 1/2 tsp or to taste
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
- Mango powder - 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda - 2 pinch
- Asafoetida - 1 pinch
- Oil - 1 to 2 tbsp (optional)
How to make Masala Peanuts recipe in Microwave
Take gram flour in a big bowl and add salt, red chilly powder, garam masala, coriander powder, mango powder, baking soda and asafoetida. Mix all ingredients really well. Keep the mango powder for later use.
Pour enough water in the vessel with peanuts, so that they are drenched completely. Strain out the water with help of a sieve, immediately. We just have to wet the peanuts. Add these wet peanuts in gram flour mixture and mix well until they are coated nicely. If you have some dry gram flour, sprinkle 1 to 2 tsp and add it as well. All the peanuts will be nicely coated with the peanuts. Now add some oil in the peanuts and mix well.
Take a microwave safe try and spread the batter coated peanuts on the tray. Separate out the peanuts if they stick to one another. Place the tray in microwave and cook for 4 minute on maximum temperature. Take out the tray and toss the peanuts so that the separate out easily. Place back the tray in microwave and cook for 1 more minute. Take out the tray again, masala peanut is now ready. Mix chaat masala to these peanuts. If you feel that the peanuts are not yet crispy and crunchy then microwave them for 1 more minute.
Once the peanuts cools, store them in an air tight container and relish eating for up to 2 months.
If you wish not to add oil in masala peanut, then skip its use. Masala peanuts taste delicious even without adding oil to it. But if you add some oil in masala peanut then it gives a good color and taste to it.
