How to make Veg Zingy Parcel Recipe
Home food is better than outside food and when the dishes prepared outside are made at home, then eating is a different pleasure. So today we are going to make, Veg Zingy Parcel. It is very easy to make them and you can prepare them in a jiffy. They will turn out so delicious that from next time onwards you will prefer to make them at home instead of ordering them from outside. So you too make veg zingy parcels with this easy method and enjoy the taste of it.
Ingredients for Veg Zingy Parcel
Refined Flour - 1.5 cups (200 grams)
Instant Active Yeast - 1.5 tsp
Sugar - 1.5 tsp
Salt - ⅓ tsp
Oil - 1.5 tbsp
Paneer - ½ cup, cubes
Butter - 1 tbsp
Ginger - 1 tsp, grated
Salt - ½ tsp
Tomato - 1, chopped seeds removed
Green Capsicum - ½ cup, chopped
Yellow Capsicum - ½ cup, chopped
Oregano - 1 tsp
Schezwan Sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp
Process of making the Dough
Mix 1.5 tsp of instant active yeast, 1.5 tsp of sugar and 3-4 tbsp of lukewarm water in a cup and keep it for 10 minutes. When the time is up, add 1.5 cup of all purpose flour and ⅓ tsp of salt to the bowl and mix them well.
Now add activated yeast to it, mix it well, add lukewarm water little by little and knead a soft dough. After kneading, add 1.5 tbsp of oil little by little and knead it while making it smooth. When the dough becomes smooth, apply some oil on it, cover it and keep it in a warm place for 1 hour.
Process of making Stuffing
Put 1 tbsp of butter in the pan and melt it lightly. Then add 1 tsp of grated ginger and fry it lightly. Then add 1 tomato (cut after removing the seeds) and ½ tsp of salt and cook it on low flame for 2-3 minutes till mashed.
When cooked, mash them and add ½ cup of small chopped green capsicum and ½ cup of small chopped yellow capsicum and mix it. Then add 1 tsp of oregano, 1 tsp of schezwan sauce and 1 tbsp of tomato sauce and mix it well. Then add ½ cup of small shredded paneer to it, mix it well and turn off the flame and take it out on a plate. In this way the stuffing will be ready, cool it.
Process of assembling Veg Zingy Parcel
Take 2 tbsp of all purpose flour and 2 tbsp of semolina in a plate and mix it well. Now mash the dough with some flour and semolina on your hand. Roll the dough on the board and cut it into 6 equal parts. Make them round and keep them in a bowl and take out a ball.
Keep it on the board and roll it slightly thicker than roti with the help of dry flour-semolina. Then fold it a little from the corners and give it a triangular shape. Now keeping 2 tsp of stuffing in the middle, apply some water on all three corners. Lift the corners and stick them in the middle and keep them on the plate.
Similarly, prepare the rest by assembling them, remember to keep them by sprinkling a little dry flour-semolina on the bottom of the plate.
Process of baking in the Oven
Preheat the oven at 200 degree centigrade for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, place 4 zingy parcels in a baking tray and lightly coat them with a solution of cream and water. When the time is up, put the baking tray in the oven and bake it at 200 degree centigrade for 10 minutes.
When the time is up, take out the tray and put it back in the oven and keep it to be baked for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the zingy parcels will be ready to be baked. Remove the tray and apply butter on it and keep it covered with a damp cloth for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the zingy parcels will be ready to serve.
Process of baking in the Cooker
Put 1.5-2 cups of salt in the cooker and keep a mesh stand on it. Remove the whistle and gasket from the lid of the cooker. Now cover the cooker and let it heat on high flame for 6-7 minutes. Meanwhile, grease the plate and keep the remaining 2 zingy parcels in it. When the time is up, carefully place the plate in the cooker, cover it and bake it for 15 minutes on medium flame. After 15 minutes, they will be ready to be baked, take them out and apply butter on them.
In this way the veg zingy parcels will be ready. Serve them with your favourite dip and enjoy their taste.
Mash the dough to make it soft and smooth.
While assembling the Zingy parcels, apply a little water on all three corners and stick them.
While baking in the oven, check them by first baking them for 10 minutes, then increase the time little by little and bake till they turn golden brown.
While baking in a cooker, check them by baking them for 15 minutes first, then increase the time and bake till they become golden brown.
