Sooji Veg Tikka Breakfast Recipe

On a holiday, there is a great desire to eat something new and delicious for breakfast. That's why today we are going to make Suji Veg Tikka. This is a very tasty breakfast and it is also very easy to make. It will be ready in a jiffy. Also, you can keep it for two days and eat it.
Ingredients for Sooji Veg Tikka
For Batter
Gram Flour - ½ cup (50 grams)
Semolina - ½ cup (80 grams)
Curd - ½ cup
Asafetida - ½ pinch
Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
Red Chilli - ¼ tsp, coarsely grounded
Green Chilli - 2, finely chopped
Ginger - 1 inch, finely chopped
Peas - ¼ cup
Cauliflower - ¼ cup, finely chopped
Capsicum - ¼ cup, finely chopped
Carrot - ¼ cup, finely chopped
Salt - more than 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 1-2 tbsp
For Dhaniya Chutney
Coriander Leaves - 1 cup
Ginger - ½ inch
Asafoetida - ½ pinch
Salt - ½ tsp
Black Salt - ½ tsp
Dry Mango Powder - 1 tsp
Process of making batter
Mix ½ cup of gram flour, ½ cup of semolina and ½ cup of curd in a bowl. Now add a little water out of a cup of water and mix the batter while eliminating the lumps. When the batter becomes smooth, add the remaining water and mix it well. Then add ½ pinch of asafoetida, ½ tsp of cumin, ½ tsp of turmeric, ¼ tsp of crushed red chilli, 2 finely chopped green chillies and 1 inch of finely chopped ginger. Mix the spices well in the batter.
Now add ¼ cup of green peas, ¼ cup of finely chopped cauliflower, ¼ cup of finely chopped capsicum and ¼ cup of finely chopped carrots. Mix them well and add a little more than 1 tsp of salt, 1-2 tbsp of green coriander and 1.25 cups of water and mix it well. Keep it for 10 minutes.
After the time is over, put the batter in the pan and cook it on high flame while stirring it for a while till it comes to a boil. When it comes to boil, reduce the flame to medium and cook it while stirring continuously till it becomes thick. Batter for suji veg tikka will be ready. Grease the tray with oil, then pour the batter on it and make it even. Now let it cool down for 10-15 minutes.
Process of making Chutney
Put 1 cup of green coriander, 3 green chilies, ½ inch of ginger, ½ pinch of asafoetida, ½ tsp of salt, ½ tsp of black salt, 1 tsp of amchur powder and 2-3 tbsp of water in a mixer jar. Now grind it very finely, the chutney will be ready.
Process of frying Sooji Veg Tikka
After the batter cools down and sets, cut it into pieces as you like. Spread 2 tbsp of oil in the pan, heat the oil lightly on low-medium flame. Put the pieces of batter in hot oil and fry for 5 minutes till it turns light brown from the bottom side. After 5 minutes, flip them and roast them from both the sides till they turn light brown and take them out. Fry the rest in the same way, sooji veg tikkas will be ready. Serve them with chutney and enjoy their taste.
Suggestions
Measure all the things while making the batter.
While cooking the batter, first cook it on high flame and as soon as it starts getting thick, cook it on medium flame while stirring continuously till it thickens a bit.
You can cook it and store it on a plate and keep it for two days. Fry it whenever you want to serve.
