Rice Kheer in Pressure Cooker

During festivals, sometimes more guests visit and the sweets you make turn out less than you planned for. Therefore, removing this dilemma of yours, today we are going to make rice kheer. It is very easy to make and it is ready in a jiffy. The specialty of this kheer is that it will be ready in very less time. We will make it in the cooker. So you too make rice kheer with this easy recipe and make your family and guests taste its special sweetness.
Ingredients for Rice Kheer in Cooker
Rice - 2 tbsp (30 g)
Milk - 1/2 litre, full cream
Cardamom - 4
Almond - 1 tbsp
Cashews - 1 tbsp
Coconut - 1 tbsp, chopped
Chironji - 1 tsp
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Fresh Malai - 3 tsp
Sugar - 1/4 cup (50 grams)

Process of making Rice Kheer
Wash and soak 2 tbsp of rice in water and keep it for 20-25 minutes. Wet the cooker with water, add 1/2 litre of milk and cook it on high flame till it boils. Meanwhile, crush 4 small cardamoms, remove the peel and crush them coarsely. When the milk starts to boil, reduce the flame to low and put the soaked rice in it after removing the water.
Then add 1 tbsp of chopped almonds, 1 tbsp of chopped cashew nuts, 1 tbsp of chopped coconut, 1 tbsp of chironji, 1 tbsp of raisins and coarsely ground cardamom. After stirring them, add 3 tsp of cream and mix it. Now close the cooker and cook on high flame till one whistle. As soon as the whistle starts, reduce the flame to low and cook for 5 minutes.
Then turn off the flame and let the cooker cool down. When the cooker cools down, open it and put 1/4 cup of sugar in it. Light the flame and cook it on low flame till the sugar dissolves completely. After the sugar dissolves, turn off the flame and let it cool down. In this way rice kheer will be ready, serve it and enjoy its taste.
Suggestions
Rice must be soaked before making kheer.
Close the cooker and cook the kheer till the whistle comes, remember that as soon as the whistle starts, reduce the flame immediately, otherwise the milk will start coming out from the whistle.
