Vermicelli Kheer Recipe

Sevai is eaten a lot in the season of Sawan, so today we are going to make vermicelli kheer. It is very easy to make and it is ready in a jiffy. In this season of Sawan, serve vermicelli as a dessert after dinner, everyone will find its taste very special. So you too make vermicelli kheer with this easy recipe and enjoy its taste with your family.
Ingredients for Semiya Kheer
Desi Ghee - 1 tbsp
Vermicelli - 1/2 cup (50 grams)
Milk - 1/2 litre, full cream
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Cashews - 1 tbsp
Almond - 1 tbsp
Charoli - 1 tbsp
Cardamom - 4
Sugar - 3 tbsp (40 g)
Process of making Semiya Kheer
Put 1 tbsp of ghee and 1/2 cup of vermicelli in the pan and fry it on low-medium flame while stirring continuously. Fry them till they turn golden brown and take them out on a plate. Now soak the vessel with water, add 1/2 litre full cream milk and boil it.
When the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame and put roasted vermicelli in it and cook it on low-medium flame. Cook it while stirring it occasionally till the vermicelli swells. When the vermicelli becomes slightly puffed, add 1 tbsp of raisins, 1 tbsp of cashew nuts, 1 tbsp of chopped almonds and 1 tbsp of chironji.
Mix them well and cook while stirring them for a while. After they are cooked well, add 4 coarse small cardamoms and mix it well. Then add 3 tbsp of sugar to it and mix it well and cook till the sugar dissolves. In this way vermicelli will be ready, serve it and enjoy its taste.
Suggestions
Sevai has to be roasted on low-medium flame.
The kheer has to be cooked while stirring it occasionally.
