Chana Dal Pancake Recipe

It is very tasty and healthy to have less oil and a healthy breakfast in the summer season. That's why today we are going to make a healthy breakfast made of gram dal and vegetables. It is very easy to make and we will prepare it by making it in very little oil. So you too make this delicious breakfast made of gram dal and vegetables with this easy method and enjoy its taste with your family.
Ingredients for Chana Dal Veg Pancake
Gram Dal - 1 cup (200 grams)
Rice - 1 cup, soaked (200 grams)
Curd - 1/2 cup
Green Chilli - 4
Ginger - 1 inch, chopped
Carrot - 1, finely chopped
Capsicum - 1, finely chopped
Tomato - 1, finely chopped
Coriander Leaves - 2-3 tbsp
Salt - 1.5 tsp
Red Chilli - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Eno Fruit Salt - 1 tsp
Process of making the Batter
Wash and soak 1 cup of chana dal in water for 3-4 hours. Remove the water from the lentils and put it in a mixer jar. Also, put ½ cup of curd, 4 green chilies and 1 inch of ginger in the mixer jar. Grind it once, add ½ cup of water and mix it and grind it back.
Take it out in a bowl and put 1 cup of rice (soaked in water for 2 hours) and 1-2 tbsp of water in the same jar. Grind them finely and take them out in the same bowl. Mix them well and add 1 finely chopped carrot, 1 finely chopped capsicum, 1 finely chopped tomato and some green coriander.
Mix them well and add 1.5 tsp of salt, ½ tsp of red chilli, ½ tsp of turmeric and ½ tsp of cumin. Mix them well, then add 1 tsp of eno fruit salt and mix it well. In this way the batter for the pancake will be ready.
Process of making Pancake
Heat the pan, spread some oil in it and heat it lightly. Now spread some batter in the pan and pour some oil in the corners. Cover it and cook on low-medium flame for 3 minutes. After the time is up, after adding some oil, turn it over and cover it and cook for 3 minutes.
After the time is up, take it off and make the rest in the same way. In this way, a healthy breakfast of chana dal rice and vegetables will be ready. Serve them with green chutney and tomato sauce and enjoy the taste.
Suggestions
Dal rice has to be grinded finely.
Water has to be mixed carefully while making the batter.
While frying pancakes, the flame should be a little more than low.
You can keep these pancakes in the fridge and eat them for 3-4 days.
