Today we are going to make Badam Chikki for a special winter. This is one of the special sweets of winter. It gets ready in a jiffy with very few ingredients. It is very tasty and after eating it once, you will like to eat it again and again. So with this easy recipe, make a special winter dessert, Badam Chikki, and enjoy its taste.
Ingredients for Almond Chikki
Almond (Sliced) - 1.5 cups (200 grams)
Sugar - 1 cup (200 grams)
Ghee - 1 to 2 tsp
Process of making Almond Chikki
Put 1.5 cups of almonds (cut into slices) in the pan and fry on medium flame for 2 minutes. When the time is up, turn off the flame and take them out. Now grease a board and a rolling pin with ghee. Then put 1 tsp of ghee in the pan and heat it. Put 200 grams of sugar in hot ghee and cook on medium flame, stirring continuously, till it melts.
After the sugar melts completely, turn off the flame and add roasted almonds to it and mix it continuously. When mixed well, turn off the flame and put it on the board and make it the same. Then apply ghee on the back of a cup and press it with the cup and spread it thinly.
Then roll it and give it a shape and put a cut mark in it. Leave it to set for 10 minutes. When the time is up, Badam Chikki will be ready. Serve them separately and enjoy their taste.
Suggestions
Almonds have to be roasted very lightly.
As soon as the sugar melts completely, immediately add almonds, then put them on the hot board and roll them and make the cut marks.
When it cools down, keep them in an airtight container. You can eat them for 2-3 months.
