Lauki Halwa Recipe without Khoya or Milk Powder

Lauki halwa is very tasty. Today we will make this halwa without adding ghee or mawa. It will be very easy to make because the ingredients for this are present in your kitchen. It will be ready very soon. So you make this delicious halwa and enjoy its different taste.
Ingredients for Lauki ka Halwa
Bottle Gourd - 1 (750 grams)
Ghee - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 cup (225 ml)
Fresh Malai - 1 cup
Sugar - ½ cup (150 grams)
Almond Flakes - 1 tbsp
Cashew - 1 tbsp, chopped
Pistachio Flakes - 1 tsp
Cardamom - 4, coarsely grounded
Process of grating Lauki
Wash and peel 1 bottle gourd of 750 grams. Then cut 2.5 cm pieces of it and wash them again. Now by rotating the piece of gourd with a grater, grate its outer part and remove the inner pulp. Grate all the pieces like this, the bottle gourd will be grated and ready.
Simultaneously, boil 1 cup of milk and when it comes to boil, turn off the flame and keep it covered.
Process of roasting Lauki
Melt 1 tsp of ghee in a pan (if you do not want ghee, you can remove it). Then add grated bottle gourd and fry it on medium flame while stirring continuously. Keep roasting it till the gourd smells good and it becomes dry. When it becomes dry, it will be ready after roasting.
Process of making Lauki Halwa
After the bottle gourd is roasted, reduce the flame to low and add boiled milk to it. Now while stirring, cook the milk till it thickens and mixes with the gourd. When the milk mixes with the gourd, add 1 cup of fresh cream and cook it while stirring. Now cook it for a while, while stirring it till it becomes thick.
After the bottle gourd becomes thick, add a little more than ½ cup of sugar and mix it. Now cook it again till it becomes thick. Then add 1 tbsp of almond flakes, 1 tbsp of chopped cashews and 1 tsp of pistachio flakes and mix it. Cook them for 2-3 minutes while mixing, add 4 small cardamoms (coarsely crushed) to it after the completion of time. In this way the halwa will be ready, serve it and enjoy its taste.
Suggestions
After adding cream to the halwa, cook it while stirring it for a while.
After adding sugar to the halwa, do not leave it at all, otherwise it will burn.
