How to make fruit Falooda
Take 2 teaspoons of basil seeds, soak it in a ½ cup of water for 15 to 20 minutes.
For the Regular Sev
Take a ½ cup of arrowroot in a bowl, add some water to it and stir until its lumps dissolve. After dissolving the lumps, add a ½ cup of water to it and stir well. Preheat a pan, add the mixture in it and cook while continuously stirring it on low flame.
Cook until it reaches to its thicker consistency and becomes transparent. After cooking it, take a Sev maker and assemble the finer sized hole plate on it. Fill the cooked mixture in the machine and close its lid.
Take a bowl filled with chilled water and some ice cubes. Remove the ice cubes from it and make the Sev in water using the machine. Keep it aside to set for a while.
For the pink colored Sev
Take a beetroot, ground it and filter its juice. Take a ½ cup of arrowroot, add the beetroot extracted water to it. Stir to mix it well and cook it likewise. After cooking it, fill it in the Sev maker and make the Sev using it in the chilled water. After making the Sev, keep it aside to set.
