Fresh Mint Mojito | Virgin Mojito Syrup
For summers here is Fresh Mint Mojito Syrup, preserve it in refrigerator. Just add ice cubes, soda and have a magical drink anytime.
Ingredients for Virgin Mojito Syrup :
- Fresh Mint Leaves - 800 gms
- Lemon - 1 kg ( 24 )
- Sugar - 1 kg
How to make Fresh Mint Mojito :
Take lemons, wash well and pat dry them. Take lemons, cut and extract juice from them in a bowl.
Take sugar in a vessel, add 2 cup water to it. Turn on flame let it cook until sugar dissolves, stir at intervals. Meanwhile check the syrup if it forms thread and is dense.
Add 1 tbsp lemon juice to the syrup. 3 thread syrup is ready.Turn off flame. Let the syrup cool.
Put washed and cleaned fresh mint leaves as much as they fit in mixer jar, add lemon juice, grind finely. Grind all the mint leaves likewise. Take out in a bowl. Add leftover lemon juice to it.
As syrup cools, add grinded mint leaves and lemon juice to it. Mix well. Strain the pulp with a strainer, separate the pulp.
Mojito syrup is ready fill the syrup in a bottle and use for a perfect drink.
Put ice cubes in a glass, Add 3 tbsp fresh Mint Mojito syrup. Add soda, a lemon slice and mint leaves too. Relish this fresh Mohito anytime.
- Adding Lemon juice to the sugar syrup prevents it from cystalsing.
