Pasta is liked by everyone especially children, it can also be packed in their lunch boxes. Today we will make Pasta with broccoli and mushrooms or Pasta with mixed vegetables. Various shapes (Shells, Spiral Shaped etc) of pasta are available.
Ingredients for Pasta with Mix Veg
Ingredients for pasta
- Paste - 200 grams
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Capsicum - 2 (red and yellow)
- Pasta sauce - 150 grams
- Ajinomoto - less than 1/4 tsp (Optional)
- Olive oil - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Ingredients for mixed vegetables
- Broccoli - 200 grams
- Mushrooms - 200 grams
- Beans - 50 grams
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Ajinomoto - less than 1/4 tsp
- Oregano powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly flakes - 1/2 tsp
- Soya sauce - 1 tsp
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
How to make Pasta with Mix Veg
Firstly boil enough water in a utensil in which pasta can be easily submerged. Add salt and 1 tsp oil in water. Cover and allow pasta to cook on a low flame for 10 minutes. Keep in mind that the pasta has to be soft but not very soft else it will start tearing and the taste spoils too. Place boiled pasta in a strainer to remove excess water.
Remove the seeds from the capsicum and cut them into strips equal to pasta.
Heat a pan, pour oil in it. Put capsicum in hot oil; stir fry for 1-1 1/2 minute. Put the boiled pasta in the pan along with pasta sauce and ajinomoto. Continue to stir fry for another 1-2 minutes. Turn off the gas, cover the pan and let pasta remain in it for now. Let us prepare our mixed vegetables.
How to make Mixed Vegetable
Wash beans and cut them into medium sized pieces, add 1 pinch of salt and cook in steam for 4-5 minutes. Beans should have the same colour and look absolutely green. Cut broccoli into medium sized pieces, wash then add 2 pinches of salt; cook for 1-2 minutes in steam.
Wash mushrooms, remove their stems and cut into 2 halves.
Heat a pan, pour oil in it. Put the beans in hot oil, stir fry for 30 seconds. Now put in the broccoli pieces and stir fry for 30 seconds. Add mushrooms, salt, ajinomoto, chilly flakes and soya sauce; mix all the ingredients properly and fry for 1-1 1/2 minutes. Turn off the gas, Mixed Vegetable is ready.
Take out Pasta and Mixed Vegetable in different bowls and serve hot. You can also pack them for your kids in their lunch boxes, they will love it..!
