Dear Nishaji, Lovely recpies , thanks a lot. This Maheri, is known as HuLi Nucchu, (sour broken rice) in Northern part of karnatka, Only difference is that we add some green chillies, coconut and ginger along with seasoning of mustards and curry leaves. Regards shubha
