    We used to eat Nimona in our childhood. Now we do not get Green garbanzo in pods in our locality. The Fresh garbanzo and paneer recipe looks very tempting.My mother used to make pickle with Green garbanzo.

    This recipe in Englishchana can be used to make various recipes like cheela, sweets etc. Green chana is available in the market during the season of holi and are tastier than normal quality of chana.My family members are very fond of eating green chana as a evening snack by adding chat masala, salt, boiled potatoes etc into it.Ingredients for Hara Chana Paneer CurryGreen chana - 200 gms. (1 cup)Paneer - 200 gms. (cut it into square)Sesame - 2 table spoon.Tomato - 2-3 (medium sized)Ginger - 1 inch long piece.Green Chilli - 2-3Oil - 1-2 table spoon.Heeng - 1 pinch.Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.Salt - 3/4 tea spoon (according to the taste)Red Chilli powder - less than 1/4 tea spoon.Garam Masala - less than 1/4 tea spoon.Coriander leaves - 1 table spoon. (chopped)Method - How to make Hara chana Panner CurryWash the chana with fresh water.Cut paneer into square shape and soak them for 5 minutes in luke warm salt water to make the paneer soft. Take it out of the water and put them on a plate. Now heat some oil in a pan and shallow fry the paneer slices till they turn light brown in colour.Put sesame on a pan and roast till they turn brown. Make a paste of roasted sesame, tomato, ginger, and green chilli.Heat oil in a pan and put heeng and cumin seeds into it. Let them splutter, then add turmeric powder, coriander powder and tomato paste. Roast the masala well by stirring it continuously with the help of a spoon. Cook the masala until the oil starts to float over the masala. Now put chana and 2-3 table spoon water into the pan and let it cook on a medium flame.Cook the chana until they become tender and then add paneer slices in it. Mix them well with the spoon. Add salt and red chilli powder into the recipe. Once the recipe starts boiling cook it for another 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame and put garam masala into the recipe.Hara chana Paneer Masala recipe is ready. Take it out in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve the dish with hot chapatis, paranthas, and rice.We can also use boiled potatoes to make Hara chana Paneer Masala.If you use onions and garlic in preparing a dish. Then add onions and 4-5 garlics along with tomato, ginger, green chilli and sesame. Make a paste of them and roast the masala in the same way we did in the above given steps.This preparation is for 4 people.Time Taken - 25 minute.

    kal hamare ghar guest aaye the , hamne hara chana paneer curry bahut man se banayi vaise toh achi bani thi per gravi mein ek ajeeb si kadwahat lag rahi thi ,kya galti hui kuch samajh nahi aaya...hamne 100 grm. hare chane or 200 grm paneer liya tha 1.5 tbs. til liya tha, baki sab same method se banaya tha phir bhi pata nahi kyu kadwahat thi..hamne first time till ki gravi banayi thi..pls. kya galat hua bataiyega shayad til ki vajah se hua..

    nisha jii kya hum packet wale hare chane ka use kar sakte hain kyunki bangalore mein taaze hare chane nahi milte hain. aur agar kar sakte hain to unhe pressure cooker mein kitni seeti tak galana hoga?
