During fast we generally use samvat rice, kuttu ka atta or singhare ka atta. The dosa made using samvat rice is very tasty.Ingredients for Samvat Rice DosaSamvat rice - 1 cupSinghara atta - ½ cupGhee - 2-3 tbspSendha Namak - ½ tspBlack pepper powder (Kali mirch powder) - ¼ tspCoriander leaves (Hara Dhaniya) - 2-3 tbspIngredients for chutneyGreen coconut - 1 cup (Grated)Curd (Dahi) - ½ cupSendha Namak - ¾ tspBlack pepper (Kali mirch) - ½ tspSesame seeds (Til) - 1 tspGhee - 1 tspHow to make samvat rice dosaTo make the dosa wash the samvat rice properly. Soak them in water for about 2 hours. Now remove the water from the rice. Add rice and water to the mixer and grind. Now pour this paste in a bowl and add singhara atta to it. Add a little water to the batter if it has a thick consistency. The batter should have a thin consistency so that it can spread easily over a pan. Now add sendha namak, black pepper and coriander leaves to it and mix well. Cover the batter and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes. The batter will set and will be ready for use. Heat a pan. Apply oil to it and make it smooth. Pour 1-2 tbsp batter on the pan and spread it evenly. Put a little oil on all sides of the dosa. Now put a little oil on top of the dosa as well. Fry the dosa till it is golden brown. Turn on the side of the dosa once it is golden brown. Once the dosa is golden brown from both sides remove it from the pan and put it on a plate spread over a tissue. Fry all the dosa similarly. How to make the ChutneyAdd coconut, curd, sendha namak and black pepper powder to the mixer and grind well. Add ghee to a pan. Once the ghee is melted, add sesame seeds to it and roast till they become golden brown in colour. Our tadka is ready. Now add this tadka to the chutney. Coconut chutney is now ready. Samvat rice dosa tastes delicious when served along with coconut chutney.Suggestions :While making samvat rice dosa we have added singhara atta, but we can add kuttu atta as well.In place of ghee we can roast the sesame seeds in oil also.We can even add coriander leaves and peanuts in the coconut chutney. This will help to increase it’s taste.

Kya ham is dose ko masala dose ki tarah bhi bana sakte hai? निशा: पूनम जी, अगर आप व्रत के लिए ही इसे मसाला दोसा की तरह बनाना चाहती हैं तो स्टफिंग के लिए आलू को साधारण तरीके से जीरे से छौंक लीजिए और सेन्धा नमक का ही उपयोग कीजिए.
