Ingredients for Mango Shrikhand
- Fresh curd - 2.5 cup (500 grams)
- Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup
- Mango pulp - 1 cup
- Cashews or almonds - 4
- Pistachios - 5 to 6
- Green cardamom - 2
How to Make Mango Shrikhand
Tie curd in any thick cloth and hang it. With this all water from curd will drain out and it'll get thick and dense. Now take it out from cloth and place it in a bowl.
Cut cashews or almonds in small and fine thin chunks. Peel cardamom and ground to make powder. Thinly, cut pistachios as well.
Add powdered sugar, mango pulp, 1/2 almonds, pistachios, cashews and green cardamom powder in hung curd and mix well. Serve mango khand in small bowls and garnish with rest of the pistachios and almonds.
Place the mango khand bowls in refrigerator. Serve chilling and scrumptious mango khand and relish eating.
You can also add pineapple pulp, litchi pulp, strawberry pulp or any other fruit you like eating the most and make shrikhand.
