Kids and young generation love eating chocolate the most. Chocolates are of various types like molded chocolate, coated chocolate, layered chocolate, filled chocolate and chocolate cluster. Today we will make molded chocolates.

Ingredients for Molded chocolate Candy

  • Dark compound - 500 grams
  • White compound - 250 grams
  • Cashew nuts - 2-3 tbsp
  • Almonds - 2-3 tbsp
  • Raisins - 2 tbsp
  • Walnut- 10-12 tbsp
  • Chocolate molds

 How to make Molded chocolate Candy

Chocolate is made by melting dark compound and white compound. Make small pieces of dark and white compound first.

With help of knife make fine pieces of white compound and dark compound or wrap them in polythene and with help of some heavy matter crush them finely. Place them in separate bowls.

How to melt chocolate compounds

Chocolate is melted in two methods; first in double boiler and second in microwave. Melting chocolate in microwave is very easy as it melts quickly whereas it takes time in melting chocolate in double boiler.  


Melt Chocolate in Double Boiler

Take two bowls like this on which we can place two other bowls for melting chocolate. Take 1-1.5 cup water in utensil and place it on low flame for boiling. Above it place bowls filled with chocolate. When chocolate starts melting, stir it with a spoon. Keep the flame low as chocolate is very sensitive. If heated for long it may get over heated. Keep stirring at regular intervals until chocolate melts completely.

Take off the melted chocolate and place it on a cloth so that the moisture is soaked by the cloth. Let the chocolate get frigid. Stir it for 1-2 minutes with help of a spoon or add little amount of unmelted chocolate into the melted chocolate.


Molding Chocolate Candy

Take a mold for molding chocolate. Make sure it should be dry; there should not be any moisture on it. With help of spoon fill melted chocolate in the mold. Fill all the columns in the mold. Pat the mold on surface so that it gets even. Place the mold in freezer for 5-10 minutes, chocolate will be ready. Take out the mold from freezer, flip it over a plate and pat. If you are using rubber mold then push it from back, chocolate will come out easily. Chocolate is ready.

 

Dark and White Mixed Chocolates

Take any mold of your choice, it should be dry. Firstly pour little amount of white chocolate in the columns. Place back the white chocolate on warm water and pour dark chocolate in the columns keeping the some empty space. Now place back the dark chocolate back on warm water. Again pour white chocolate in the columns. Fill all the columns like wise. Pat the mol so that chocolate gets even. Place the mold in freezer for 5-10 minutes. Take out mold from freezer and flip it above the plate. Pat the mold, chocolate will come out easily. Marvel chocolate is ready.

 

Nutty Molded Chocolate

Take a mold with big columns which is dry and clean completely. Pour little amount of melted chocolate in the mold. Like wise fill all columns. Now place walnut in half of the columns and almonds in the rest of the columns. Pour chocolate filling the columns till top. Pat the mold so that chocolate gets even. Place the mold in freezer for 5-10 minutes for setting. Take out mold from freezer and flip above a plate. Push the rubber mold, chocolates will come out easily. Walnut and almonds chocolate is ready.

 

Raisin and Butterscotch Chocolate

Now make chocolates with some more sweetness. For this add little or 2-3 tbsp finely crushed white chocolate in the melted dark chocolate. With mixing white chocolate dark chocolate will get sweet. Mix both chocolates and melt them. Take off the melted chocolate and place it on a cloth. Take any mold you wish for and pour little mount of chocolate into the mold. Place one cashew nut in few columns and fill again with some more chocolate. For making raisin chocolate, pour some chocolate and place 2-3 raisins in few other columns. Fill it again with more chocolate. Like wise for making butterscotch chocolate, pour some chocolate in the mold and place 2-3 butterscotch pieces in the columns. Fill the columns again with some more chocolate. Place the mold in freezer for 5 minutes. Chocolate will get set. Take out the mold from freezer and flip it above a plate and then pat. Dry fruit molded chocolate is ready. 

Lip smacking and tempting chocolates are ready. Eat it yourself and give to kids as well. Cut wrapping paper as per the shape and size of chocolates.

If you want to present it someone then buy baskets or boxes from the market, wrap the chocolates and place them into it. Hand made chocolates will be liked by any one.
