Eggless Wheat Biscuit with Jaggery

Adding another snack to your healthy diet, today we are going to make Eggless Wheat Biscuit with Jaggery. These biscuits are very tasty and healthy. It is very easy to make them and they are ready in a jiffy. Children like their taste very much. So you too make these delicious biscuits of jaggery and wheat flour with this easy method and enjoy its taste.
Ingredients for Jaggery Wheat Biscuit
Wheat Flour - 1 cup (150 grams)
Jaggery - ¾ cup (150 grams)
Semolina - ¼ cup (45 grams)
Desiccated Coconut - ¼ cup
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Cardamom - 6-7, coarsely crushed
Desi Ghee - 5 tbsp
Milk - 4 tbsp
Almond Flakes - 2 tbsp
Process of making Jaggery Syrup
Put ¾ cup of jaggery, 5 tbsp of ghee and 4 tbsp of milk (heated and cooled) in the pan. Now just heat it by lighting the flame and melt it while stirring continuously. When it is hot, turn off the flame and melt it by mixing, if there is a thick piece of jaggery, then break it.
Process of making the Dough
In a bowl, add 1 cup of wheat flour, ¼ cup of semolina, ¼ cup of coconut powder, 2 tbsp of almond flakes, 6-7 coarsely ground cardamom and 1 tsp of baking powder. Mix them well and add jaggery syrup to it and mix it well. After mixing, mash it and make a dough.
Process of assembling Biscuit
Take 1 tbsp of dough and keep it on hand. Now round it and press it and make it like a peda. Then with the help of a knife, mark the cut in it and keep it in the baking tray. Remember, the knife is not to be taken to the bottom, just make a mark of the cut, so that the shape of the biscuit can be made. Similarly make the rest and keep them in a baking tray.
Process of baking Biscuits in Oven
Preheat the oven at 180 degree centigrade for 5 minutes. When the time is up, put the tray in the oven and bake it at 170 degree centigrade for 10 minutes. When the time is up, the biscuits will be ready to be baked, take them out and cool them.
Process of baking Biscuits in the Pan
Put 2 cups of salt in a pan, keep the mesh stand on the salt and cover it and heat it for 7-8 minutes on high flame. Meanwhile, grease the plate and keep the biscuits at a distance in it. When the time is over, carefully place the plate in the pan, cover it and cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame.
Then check and cover it back and bake it for 15 minutes more. After the time is up, they will be baked, take them out and cool them. Serve them and enjoy their taste.
Suggestions
Measure all the ingredients for making dough.
Knead the dough a little soft.
While baking in the oven, make sure to check them in 10 minutes and after increasing the time little by little by 2-3 minutes, bake them till they become golden brown.
While baking in a pan, check it in the first 10 minutes and then check it after a while and bake it till it turns golden brown.
When they cool down completely, store them in any air tight container, you can eat them for a whole month.
