Bread Pizza & Samosa Pinwheels । Pinwheel pizza
Bread pinwheel is a recipe which can be served as started or snacks for any occasion.
Ingredients for pinwheel sandwich
- Bread slices - 12
- Potatoes - 2 (boiled)
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Green chilli - 1 (finely chopped)
- Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - less than 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
- Mango Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala - less than 1/4 tsp
- Green coriander - 1 to 2 tbsp
- Cheese slices - 2
- Pizza sauce - 2 tbsp
- Green coriander dip - 2 tbsp
- Butter - 1 tbsp
How to make Pinwheel
Take 2 potatoes, boil, peel and mash them. Preheat a pan, add 2 teaspoons of oil in it and heat it. Add a ½ teaspoon of ginger paste on the low flame in the heated oil. Add 1 to 2 finely chopped green chillies to it and saute it.
Add a ½ teaspoon of coriander powder, less than ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder and add the mashed potatoes to it. Add a less than ½ teaspoon of salt, a ¼ teaspoon of mango powder and cook while stirring them. Press with a spatula to mash them. Add some finely chopped green coriander, a ¼ teaspoon of red chilli powder and mix them well.
Drain out the cooked stuffing from the pan. Remove corners of the bread slices and flatten them using a rolling pin. Spread 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce on a slice and place another bread slice over it. Spread 2 teaspoons of the stuffing over it and place another bread slice to cover it.
Spread a teaspoon of green coriander dip over it and take a sheet of foil paper to wrap it. Lift an end of a foil paper and roll to wrap it. Roll, fold and seal the pinwheel in it. Prepare the rest of pinwheels likewise.
Spread 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce on a slice and place another bread slice over it. Place a cheese slice on it and then place another bread slice over to cover it. Spread a teaspoon of green coriander dip over it.
To set pinwheels
Take a sheet of foil paper to wrap the pinwheel. Lift an end of a foil paper and roll to wrap it. Roll, fold and seal the pinwheel in it. Prepare the rest of pinwheels likewise.
Refrigerate sealed pinwheels for half an hour to set. After 30 minutes, take them out of the refrigerator because they have set. Remove the foil paper coverings from the pinwheels. Chop the pinwheels into the smaller sized pieces of 1/2 inch.
For the baking process
Take a baking tray and spread a butter paper over it. Coat it with the melted butter and place it in the tray. Preheat oven for 5 minutes and bake pinwheels for 15 minutes on the 190-degree centigrade. The baked pinwheels are ready to be served after 15 minutes.
For the shallow frying process
Preheat a non-stick pan and spread some butter over it. Place pieces in the pan to cook and cook them for 2 to 3 minutes on the medium flame. Flip them after they have cooked from the bottom.
Again, cook them for 1 to 2 minutes on the low-medium flame. They have cooked well because they appear brown, Remove them from the pan and serve. You can serve both the varieties of pinwheels along with tea or any desired dip.
You can make bread crumbs from the remaining corners of bread. You can make its snacks or you can use it as the soup sticks.
You can use tomato sauce or sweet tamarind dip instead of pizza sauce.
You can assemble and store them in the refrigerator a day before serving.
You only fresh bread for this recipe.
