Mushroom Veggie Balls and Mushroom Soya Kofta Curry

We all get bored at some point of time with the same snacks and vegetables every day. So today we are going to make Mushroom Veggie Balls and Mushroom Kofta Curry specially for that one day. It is very easy to make them and their taste is amazing. You can serve these balls as snacks and also as vegetable with gravy. So you too make Mushroom Veggie Balls and Mushroom Kofta Curry with this easy recipe and enjoy their taste with your family.
Ingredients needed
For Mushroom Veggie Balls
Soya Chunks - 1 cup, soaked
Mushroom - 1/2 cup
Green Chilli - Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Boiled Potato - 2, Grated
Coriander Leaves
Salt - 1 tsp
Corn Flour - 3 tbsp
Oil for frying
For Mushroom Kofta Curry
Oil - 1 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Green Chilli - Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Tomato - 2
Green Chilli - 2
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Kashmiri Red Chilli - 1 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
Coriander Stem - 1 tbsp
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp
Coriander Leaves
Process of making the Dough
Wash and soak 1 cup of soya vadi in water for 1 hour. Then wipe 3 medium sized mushrooms well and cut them finely, remember to cut the back part and remove it. Squeeze the soaked soya vadi and put it in a jar and grind it coarsely.
Take out the grounded soya vadi in a bowl. Then add 1/2 cup of finely chopped mushrooms, 1 tsp of green chilli-ginger paste, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of chaat masala, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 2 boiled potatoes grated, some green coriander and 1 tsp of salt.
Mix them, then add 3 tbsp of cornflour to it and mix it well. Apply some oil on your hands and knead them well. In this way the dough will be ready.
Process of making Mushroom Veggie Balls
Take a little oil on your hand, break a little dough and make it round. Make a ball and place it on a plate and prepare the rest of the balls in the same way. Now put a little oil in the holes of the appam maker and grease them. When the oil is hot, put the balls in it for frying.
Then cover it and fry the balls on low flame for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, turn them over, cover them and fry them for 4 minutes. Fry them from all sides till they turn golden brown. Then take them out and prepare the rest by frying them in the same way.
In this way the mushroom veggie balls will be ready by frying. Serve some of these with your favourite dip with tea or coffee and enjoy the taste.
Process of making Mushroom Kofta Curry
Put 1 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of butter in a pan and heat it. When hot, add 1 tsp of green chilli-ginger paste and fry it lightly. Then add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tsp of coriander powder and fry it lightly.
When the spices are lightly roasted, add tomato-green chilli-ginger (2 tomatoes, 2 green chilies and 1/2 inch ginger) paste to it. Now fry it on medium flame till the oil separates from the spices, while stirring it occasionally.
Also add 1 tsp of kashmiri red chilli, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder and 1 tsp of chaat masala and fry till oil separates. When the oil separates from the spices, add finely chopped coriander leaves and 3/4 tsp of salt and mix it well.
Then add 1 cup of water to it and stir it well. When mixed well, add 2 tbsp of tomato sauce and mix it well. Now add mushroom veggie balls to it and mix it well. In this way mushroom kofta curry will be ready. Serve them and enjoy their taste.
Suggestions
Flip and fry the mushroom veggie balls till they turn golden brown from all sides.
