Dear Ms. Madhulika: How can I make soft idlis in the microwave?  I read somewhere that by adding eno salt , idlis made in the microwave will turn out soft & spongy.  How many teaspoons of eno salt should be added to the idli batter?  Can you give me the complete procedure to make idlis in the microwave? Rasgulla not round

i could not wait till the milk became 1/4. I added in between sugar nd at the end i added little mango pulp nd diced mangoes. But instead of thick rabri..it became semi liquid.. what can i now do to mnake it thick? can i put the pot again on the low flame till it get thickend? thnk you for yur reply in advance!!...

Hi, I am making Moong dal idlis as I am diabetic. So there is no rice in my idli batter. But the idlis are coming out flat. Here is what I did - soaked moong dal for 4-5 hours, drained excess water, and grinded to fine paste. Added a little curd, coriander leaves and eno fruit salt and mixed it.Then I steamed for 15 to 18 minutes in idli maker. Microwave dhokhla

Dear mam, I tried 2 twice this method but not success to make soft spongy. Dokhla. It's become to hard like brick, If I cook in less time like 2-3 minutes then half of the batter cooked and half left soft running.
