Creamy Pasta Recipe
Pasta is an Italian Dish. But when it is made in India, the style and taste is different from its original taste. Infact my entire family id fond of Creamy Pasta made at home, rather than any Italian White sauce or Red sauce Pasta. I would suggest you to try it out.
Ingredients for Creamy Pasta
- Pasta - 200 gms (2 cup)
- Cabbage - 1 cup (chopped)
- Carrot - 1 cup (chopped)
- Capsicum - 1 cup (chopped)
- Fresh Green Peas - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 2 table spoon
- Cream - 100 gms. (1/2 cup)
- Salt - according to the taste (1 tea spoon)
- Ginger - 1 inch long piece (grated)
- Black pepper - 1/4 tea spoon
- Lemon - 1
- Coriander leaves - 1 table spoon (chopped)
Method - How to make Creamy Pasta
Take out the pasta from the packet and spread on a plate.
Take a pan and put triple the quantity of water from pasta. Add 1- 2 tea spoon oil and salt in the water. Once the water boils put pasta into it and let it boil. Keep on stirring the pasta at short intervals and lower down the flame once it starts to boil. Within 15-20 minutes the pasta will get tender and soft. Press it with your finger nails to feel the tenderness.
Meanwhile finely chop all the vegetables in a plate and keep it aside.
Now drain all the water from the pasta and wash it with cold water to remove the stickiness.
Take a pan and heat butter in it. Put all the vegetables into the pan, cover the pan with a lid and cook it for 2 minutes. Once the vegetables gets tender, add cream, salt, black pepper, and mix them well. Cook it for 1-2 minutes and add pasta into it. Stir the pasta and cook it for another 2 minutes so that it mixes well with the vegetables Turn off the flame. Garnish it with lemon juice and coriander leaves.
