Rava Laddoo - Rawa Ladoo - Sooji Ka Laddo - Suji Ke Laddoo
These ladoos can also be prepared on the occasion of any festival. These ladoos are very delicious and can be stored for even 15 to 20 days. Let's prepare Sooji-Khoya Ladoo.
Ingredients of Rawa Laddoo
- Rava (Sooji) – 500 gm
- Mawa (Khoya) – 500 gm
- Ghee – 400 gm
- Sugar (Tagar) – 1 kg
- Cashew – 100 gm
- Cardamom – 15 to 20 ( peeled and grinded)
How to make Rawa Ladoo
Take the farina out and filter it in a utensil.
Put ghee in the frying pan and heat it. Now add the farina to it and fry on low flame till it becomes light brown in color. Keep aside the fried farina in a utensil for cooling.
Now put the mawa (khoya) in the frying pan and roast on low flame till it turns brown (Browner mawa, makes the ladoo tastier and increases it's shelf life). Now keep it aside for cooling.
Cut the cashews into 6 to 7 pieces, each.
After farina and mawa (khoya) cools down, mix boora (tagar), cashew and cardamom.
Now make the ladoos from this mixture in any size, as per your preference.
You have prepared the Farina-Khoya Ladoos and now you can serve and eat them fresh. Store the remaining ladoos in an air tight container and they will last for even 15 to 20 days.
